News and Update: iWave Joining the Fight Against COVID-19

iWave, Inc., a software developer and exporter company, through its Chairman and Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Hirotsugu Kobayashi and it’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ramon C. Garcia, Jr. has joined the fight against covid 19 by donating 1,000pcs face shield to Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center and 500 pcs of face shields to Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA). According to its Chairman and President, the donation is Iwave’s contribution to the many brave and heroic frontliners in containing the pandemic as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The 21st letter of the Greek alphabet is “phi”. It is used to denote God’s ratio in architecture which symbolizes perfection in form. p3 is iWave’s Portable Payment Processor. It handles posting of recurring credit card payments. The stylized “p” in p3 means that this system descending from a robust predecessor not only strives for perfection in form but also in function.

iWave started in the early 90’s with its first headquarters at the 6th floor of the Maxicare Building (previously known as Equitable Building) at Salcedo St. in Legaspi Village, Makati City. When it expanded its operations in the late 90’s, a second office at the 11th floor of the neighbouring Fedman Building was occupied. The new Millennium is significantly marked by iWave when it moved its offices to the 3rd floor of the Hatch Asia Building at the Fort Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City in 2001. Finally, in 2005 iWave went back to Makati City and bought its own office units. Now, iWave’s headquarters is at the 9th floor of the Philippine AXALife Centre at Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City.
